I was provided these cool sketches and all the artwork i needed from Carlos Rodriguez to collage them together into a stop motion idle background animation.

Meanwhile, Designer Diana Heralall was busy making content for social leading up to the event.
I could use her design files for elements and take care of these IPTV needs

We learned quickly that ours need to be really dark when the sun is down. The LED lights are so bright. It was noted that I should make an "AM" and "PM" version of all the graphics.
The theme we had going for the show was to represent each bourough the artists were from when they were on stage, other wise have the generic version animation wiht the spinning cube be playing.

These are just a handful of exports needed before the show that I could hand off to Gary Westcott, the Stage Director, to plug into his system .
I would be standing by, in the middle tent, ready for last minute requests
"You never know who's gonna show up at Summerjam"
If you don't know, there's a "curse" on Summerjam where it always rains on the day of the event, no matter which date.
At the end of the day, it was a huge success;) The show continued into a dry evening.

2020 was canceled due to the pandemic.

They let me play around with so many ideas...I got do design alot from scratch.
It was also a special year for me to introduce my new favorite 2D software "Cavalry" into my workflow!

2022
This year, a lot of artists on this lineup were not from tri-state area,
So instead of customizing design by borough, we'd simply shout to where their from with location pictures and I would branch off Diana's 2022 summerjam designs.

This is a set i animated for Fiveo
(the headliner), it was so much fun to study the 808 beat in depth to add another layer to the animation, and hopefully match the music alittle bit.
